Jim O’Horo Memorial Columbia Gorge Explorer – Day One – Vancouver to Home Valley

Day 1 approximate Distance: 51 miles. Estimated riding time 5 - 6 hours
Our route travels east from Vancouver, through Camas and Washougal to Washougal River Rd. where we turn north and then east to join Highway 14. Once on Highway 14 we follow it with a few relatively flat side loops to take advantage of views, possible attractions and get an occasional break from Highway traffic. The day ends at a small county park campground with flush toilets, sinks but NO SHOWERS on the south side of Highway 14. See the ride calendar for details on Days 2-4 of this tour.
