Sunday Afternoon Ride

How about a short afternoon ride - when temps may be warmer and Sunday errands are done? Essentially this Wilshire Pk ride is east on Prescott to the 205 bike path, south for a climb to the Gateway Max to get our hearts pounding and our lungs open (or skip for a 16-mile ride and less climbing), turn around for a nice descent and a short climb back to Maywood Park and on to the Marine Drive bike path, head west to 33rd ave, take 33rd south, then west on Dekum to the intersection with Durham, then Durham south, east on Holman, south on 32nd, and back to Wilshire. We will stop for a short break at Tamale Boy at 18th and Dekum (@ mile-point 17). We ride rain or shine, but not ice or snow! The planned route is the same as previous, but if there are strong west winds along the river, I'll provide a different route that avoids the headwinds.
