Boring-Troutdale-Fairview Loop -Portland Bicycling Club

Boring-Troutdale-Fairview Loop

Description

The first half of the route takes us through the scenic farmlands of Boring and East Gresham. There are a few short steep climbs in the first 12 miles but no long sustained climbs. We’ll join the Historic Columbia River Highway at about mile 14 and head to Troutdale town, but as a switch, we will NOT be stopping at the Troutdale General Store. Instead we’ll continue our easy climb into Fairview and stop on Halsey at the Stomping Grounds coffee shop. Our return will be along the familiar roads and trails of Fairview and Gresham. The pace will be Leisurely to Moderate, or pick your own pace and follow the route on your own for a non-group ride.
